What is LAN MAC filter? How to use it?

 

This option allows you to decide if BiGuard will response all the requests from the specified MAC address, including browsing Internet and accessing web configuration.

Example 1:

All MAC addresses can access internet except 00:11:11:11:11:11.

Example 2:

All MAC addresses (all computers of the LAN) can’t access internet except 00:11:11:11:11:11.

Note: You can get MAC address list from Candidate:

Attention:

When you are going to configure the default LAN MAC filter rule to “Drop”, please remember to add the MAC address of administrator’s computer to a forward rule first. Otherwise, you will have problem in configuring BiGuard.
